d16z6 head and d16y8 block...safe to turbo?
like the title says...i have a d16z6 head on a d16y8 block...is it safe to put a t3 turbo at 6psi on it because of the high compression?

Do some more research on how turbochargers work and how compression ratio affects it in a VERY big way before you do anything. It seems like you're still learning a bit. Visit the Forced Induction forums more often.
