I believe it would be less than stock, because the z6 combustion chamber is larger

another question.....this is for a 90 crx,we put the 97 y7 in it with no problems concerning the distributor,it bolts right in.now with the z6 head, the distributor doesnt match up.what an i do?can i get a 92-95 distributor and change out the casing for the obd0 wiring?or just modify the existing dist.?

http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm

After checking here, it seems the CC of the z6 and y7 heads are the same, so compression should stay the same.

About the distributor, this is why I always advise against using a z6 head in an OBD-2 car. No OBD2 dizzy will directly bolt onto a z6 head. You can either modify the distributor mounting holes or you can swap the guts, and I am not experienced in either.

its actually for a 90 crx,the 90 dist fit perfectly in to the 97 head,go figure.but now with the z6 head,i dunno what route to take yet??lol.

A6/B7/Y7/Y8 all have the same dizzy mounting position, whereas Z6 is different...
