d16z6 head on d16y7 block...?
as the tittle says i have a z6 head and i was wondering if i could swap it onto my y7 block, i already knw that i have to use i of the z6 head bolts(on the vtec side) my question is what timing belt would i need, and also i was wondering if my d15b8 dizzy will work on the z6 cuz im runnin it now on the y7. any help would be really great. searched on the timing belt but was unable to get a strait answer.

Get the timing belt for the head, so in your case, Z6. The Z6 distributer is unique so you will need one specific to that engine or to the OBD1 VTEC SOHC ZC engine. You can try to make a non VTEC OBD1 distributer work by drilling out the mounting bolts, but it's very shitty. I tried this and my timing advance was maxxed out at 16, which is within spec, but maxxed out. Shitty. So I ended up getting the Z6 distributer and now my timing is tuned to 18 with plenty of adjustment left.
