d16z6 head build.......
i just got a z6 head and im planning on building it this winter than dropping it on my y8 in spring if not sooner....im going to get it ported and polished and resurfaced...i wanted to know what else i should do like cam and cam shft and spiring and stuff like that open for suggestions?

i was thinking maser bros i havent had a problem with the guys in there i was goin to let the port and polish and resurface

RLZ, Alaniz, Portflow, Endyn, Rocket, DonF are in the NE?
The VJ on D16's is about as good from the factory as it can get for a stock bore engine. Only way I'd let someone touch one of my D heads is if they are on the above list.
VJ, chamber work, port work. Thats the order of importance for a good head.

I don't personally like the guys there but JE Imports is on route 40, they were on Honda Tuning I believe just recently with a 900whp? H22 turbo. They do good work but depends on how you rate customer service.

dude ive heard so many bad things about je and that they charge you out the a$$ so i think im gonna go to mser bros on eastern ave because ive been in there a couple times and the one guy has worked there for ten years and hes a really cool guy soo well see

Yeah I personally go for what I like instead of price comparing, I'd rather spend a few extra dollars somewhere and know if theres an issue they will help me instead of saving a few and getting screwed later.

exactly i just need to find out what kinds of springs and stuff to buy and what not but im gonna have it port and polished and resurfaced first
