Default d16z6 head?

i have a 96 civic ex with the stock y8 in it...and ive heard that the z6 head makes alot of a performance gain....is it worth swapping heads or should i just save that money and get a b18 which i really want?

Yeah, I wouldn't waste my time on a "mini-me" swap of any sorts. Which "B18" are you looking to get? The B/B1 LS, C/C1 GSR, or maybe the C5?

What is your budget/whp goals?

im looking for b18b1 and go ls-v later...one of my buddies has an ls integra and wants a gsr and is gonna give me his motor free with 130,000 miles but it depends on how long it takes him to find gsr.....i want like 250-280 ill probably be happy with my y8 is just tooo damn sloww....
