Default D16z6 with Eagle Rods, Y8 crank and Y.C.P. 8.5:1 pistons, timing issues?

I recently built my D16 with the title's parts, i assumed everything was the same specs as factory aside from of course the pistons, but i believe i may've changed my stroke some. I messed with my distributer a bit when i took my engine apart, but putting it back to dead center should be stock timing, right? Anyway, my engine's power started falling off around 6k RPMs, i advanced it and now it pulls to a little before redline, has alot more power, and much more torque for daily driving.

Did these parts mess with my stroke, i can't find any information on it through Google.
