Default D16Z6 to D15B7

I just replaced a blown D16Z6 with a D15B7.
I kept the D16 harness and later realized the D16 uses a map sensor, while the D15 uses some kind of vaccum hose. I have nowhere to connect that line on.

Here's my Q.
Am I better of using the D16 intake manifold?
If I do use the D16 IM, do I stick with the D15 ECU or do I use the D16 ecu? Will the D15 ECU know what to do with the MAP sensor signal?

awwww z6 to b7...poor guy...
either ecu will work. as long as its the same obd
the map sensor.....the d15b7 does have one. its just not on the throttle body its on the firewall and on the chassis harnes so its wired differently..,..good luck with that part..work around it though by using the same manifold that was in the car.

So it'd be quicker to just swap the intake manifold and call it a day?
I still have the donor car, so I could be able to take map sensor for the D15. I have yet to locate it(can't be that hard in an empty engine bay lol).

If I use the P28 with a D15B7, won't it throw a CEL for Vtec?

I fired it up last night.
First thing that poped on the dash was the check engine.
Codes 21, 22
Both related to Vtec, so I'll swap the ECU and call it a day I guess.

Got a smallish issue here.
I bought a new intake manifold gasket hoping it would come with a new seal for the coolant(the part circled on the picture)... but the new gasket does not have it.

How do I go about putting the old seal back on the block?
Be lightning fast at putting the seal, the gasket then the intake manifold so it doesn't have time to fall out?
