would 11.5:1 be overkill for a N/A street setup?

as long as u get some ARP studs and some forged rods and new gaskets, u should be fine. its not too too much. in fact i think it would be a lot of fun. just keep that head on tight.

torque em down. cant beat ARP. god i need more money...... i know exactly what i need to do to my motor but the funding (or lack of) is holding me back.

do u plan on running nitrous? i plan on running at the most a 100 shot so thats why im only going to be using 10.5:1. dont want to explode.

id stay SOHC (my sig). i mean if u can tune this bitch to out perform a DOHC, which one is better. and good job with staying N/A. its tough but its more rewarding than bolting on a turbo kit.

9.18:1 with a displacement of 1493.4 cc

thats assuming you're using the 1 layer head gasket and not the 2 layer.

what pistons are you using. that will make a huge difference. I put the stock B7's in for my calculations.
