Default D16Z6 Clutch question

Ok, well i changed my clutch my self (First Time Ever) about 2 months ago. It's an exedy clutch. Well its slipping, but only when i am shifting at high RPM's. But since i have a lead foot i'm in high RPM's alot, so i need to figure this out. when i changed my clutch i didn't have money or time to get the flywheel resurfaced. could this be my problem. When i first installed the clutch it grabed fine. but now it doesn't grap as good.

Will i just need to get it resurfaced. or will i have to get a whole new clutch and a resuface job?

Help is needed

not resurfacing your flywheel caused premature wear and now you will need to replace both

yes not resurfacing, or improper break in can cause slipping...

I actually did the same thing, and not resurfaced my flywheel, same exact clutch and did not break it in either.... It also slipped, so what i did was take it easy on the car, and after a while it went back to normal... Dont know how but it did...

what i was hoping is that i could just drop the trany and resurface the bitch. Now i have money and time. Think it would help?

if the surface of the flywheel was uneven it probally wore down your clutch uneven... soo now ur flywheel will be okay but your clutch might be off... hmmmmm..... I donno man.,... if you have the money, just get the clutch replaced, and resurface the flywheel... if not try your idea...

i would just replace the clutch and flywheel... its not worth the time to drop everything just to put the used crap back in... u dont have to replace ur flywheel just get it resurfaced.
