you dont judge by psi. stock z6 can do about 220hp tops on stock internals depending on the condition of the motor. always best to compression test and make sure its a healthy motor not burning oil or anything first. get a tune

Psi doesn't mean ****...it's how much power you are making that is relative. The rods could handle 10000 psi if you are only making 240 to the wheels. I'm running 11 psi making 220ish to the wheels on my z6 coupe but I am on a conservative tune but I know a guy who made 270 whp on a stock z6 until he bent a rod. My wideband reads 11's at full boost.... pig rich. I would do what everyone else said...comp. test the motor...get adequate sized injectors (I run 550 r.c saturated injectors)...be smart while u select you set up...and TUNE TUNE TUNE...aim to be conservative.

LOL LOL that thing is a pos noobie helper for non-tuners still better than nothing

but yeah everything comment wise are good for you to know. t3/t4 turbo is very very very vague different sized turbos could use more boost or less boost to make same power. 220whp i am pretty sure you would be happy with unless you plan on taking your car to the track

and considering this guy seems kind of new to the forced induction world...being he is asking for turbo set up tips...I figured this would get him in the ball park to make sure he is not leaning out. AEM Widebands are not pieces of ****...know a few guys who run use them in their 400+ whp single cam builds. Now the sunpro narrow band is a p.o.s.

the aem isn't really a pos just a over hyped wide band that isnt really all that great just very user friendly plug n play. little things wrong with it and things it doesnt do. its better to but yeah theres better wide bands for same price. any narrow band is a POS when measuring afr for boosted cars. i can tell you why exactly i dont prefer it over others. but you can research.

Yeah I just figured it would be easy for someone new to tuning to figure out. I'm running the AEM wideband right now...but When I start making more power I might want something more accurate. Which widebands do you prefer?
