Icon6 D16z6 bogs

Just recently did a swap on my 92 civic cx. It bogs when i try to accelerate from low rpms all the way to redline and all gears. I was told it was because of my stock cx piping that it wasnt letting enough air out. The cx piping is pretty small by the way. I just wanted to c what u peeps on here would know if thats rly the prob. theres no check engine light at all. Its runing i/h/e and a d16y8 intake manifold plus a chipped p28 that my friend gave me. He also told me the ecu was running a set up for his jdm d15b. Maybe its not set for my motor? Can it the be the cx stock pipe, timing, fuel injectors or distributor? Just wna make sure. Thanks for ur help.

Exhaust piping wont make a noticeable difference on a stock hp motor. And could explain more by what you mean when you say it bogs. Does it lose power when you give it gas, does it always have no power, does it miss, what going on.

And what motor did you swap in? Stock? D16? B18?

And what was done to your friends d15b.

Read thread title lol

First of all, using B8 injector with a Z6 isn't going to work well at all.
Exhaust diameter may be an issue, as well as the ambiguous
"chipped" ECU.

Incorrect ignition or mechanical timing can cause the engine to bog as well.

Then the ecu isnt mapped for the right motor correct.
