Default d16z6 or a b18b in a civic coupe

Well i've been pondering the question if i should do the D16z6 swap in my civic dx or a LS motor swap and i figred the 10 less hp can be made up by bolt ons in the d16z6 and would save me like 900 bucks swapin a d16z6 in but iono i got the d16y7 in rite now but need more power give me suggestions

Well I run a sohc and I like it. Thing is there is more parts out there for dohc. What you can do is buy the d16 swap it and with the 900 dollars part together a turbo kit. okay maybe it will cost alittle more but youll have a faster engine then going with the ls. thats my imo.

I perfer a boosted single cam because there cheap and swaping a single cams is pretty upfront. Also if your going boost its not a bad ideal to go with d series for first time boosting.

swapping both b or d is pretty much upfront on in a 92-95 civic.

search on the 10 zillion threads we have about B vs D, you'll find lots of information that might be useful to your decision but it probably will all come down to preferance.
