Default d16z6 for b16a2

i am looking 4 a swap 4 my civc hatch 93' and i was wondering would my stock tranny work wit a b16a2 engine

nope, only b-series trannys work with b-series motors. same with d-series. even if you got a z6 you would want to get an ex (y8/z6) trans. too because the dx/cx trans. have longer gears.

Would the non vtec b16 tranny off an acrua integra 92 ls would work wit the vtec work wit a b16a2 off a 99 civic si

A L L B SERIES BOLT UP. The only other diff is that one older ones are cable and new ones are hydrolic.

i really dont wana pay another 400 4 another tranny when i have 2 other just laying around the d16z6 and the one off the acura ls

no it wont work. your 93 is hydraulically operated and your 92 integra is cable. unless you get a cable to hydraulic conversion. i think hasport makes them.
92 up civics and 94 up integras are hydraulic
earlier are all cable

and you want a b16 or gsr tranny cause of the short gears too. i would prolly go with the b16 cause they are shorter
