D16Z6 - all 4 spark plugs are burnt
Ok so I bought a z6 vtec threw it in my car it was hesitating to start and then I played around with the distributor and did the timing like 4 times so I finally mess with the spark plug wires and it starts ! Car was idling super rough and it was at 3000rpms jumping up and down ! So I removed the plugs just now and all 4 are burnt ! Any ideas ?

Oh wow. OP, try that again. This time, read the rules sticky, give us all necessary information (hint: what's necessary is in the rules), and try typing in comprehensible English.

Don't use run on sentences. Don't abuse punctuation. Use easily read sentences. Don't type like you're in a chat room or texting. Type like you have a grasp of the English language greater than that of a 6 year old. It makes it a LOT easier to help you, and makes people MUCH more likely to actually want to help.
Black piston tops are normal. Post pictures of your spark plugs so we can see what you're talking about. You also still need to give us more information. What chassis do you have? What other modifications have you done? What ECU and wiring harness(es) are you using?

Ohh okay I understand , I can't add pictures at the moment because I just started this account . My chassis is a 1997 Honda civic and I swapped my d16y7 with a d16z6 vtec engine I am currently running my non vtec ecu and the d16y7 harness. I was messing with the distributor and the spark plug wires because the car wasn't turning over , it seemed like the car wasn't getting spark after messing around with the wires It finally started but it was thumping I knew it was misfiring and the idle was going from 2500 Rpm to like about 3200rpm it was at high idle.

Re: Helllllllllp!!!
photobucket works, although I personally like imgur.com more.
The Z6 won't just plug in. What wires did you modify? How did you modify them? What CELs are you throwing?

Re: Helllllllllp!!!
Ill check that out right know. I modified the wires 1-3-4-2 then 1-4-3-2 then i modified it back to 1-3-4-2 and it started . The random cylinder misfire was on and either throttle sensor or map sensor was at a high circuit .!?

Re: Helllllllllp!!!
I don't mean the spark plug wires. There are only a million different pictures and descriptions of how those should be installed, I'm not going over it again. I'm talking about your wiring harness. Most of the sensors won't just plug in. The Z6 is an OBD1 motor, whereas your car is OBD2A.

And that's the only code, skieza? Also, picture of plugs.
EM1, you can't make a thread for a reason - you're expected to put a modicum of effort into searching. Go to the hybrid forum (it's there for a reason) and start reading.
