Default D16z6 in a 96 civic dx with p2p(d16y8 ecu)

Ok so it runs alright but when I cruise around town the narrow band 02 says everythings ok but when I floor it under 6000rpms its so lean it doesnt even show up. I have no cel and vtec works after 6000rpms its runs great. With the stock (d16y7) ecu its fine, it runs rich at wot but theres no vtec. I have changed the iacv, throttle body including the tps and map, and I took the plugs and wires out of my d16z6 crx which runs fine and its not any better. What should I try next? Also before anyone says it I know the narrow band isnt great but it gives me an idea. Please help.

Can anyone tell me if there is a major difference between dx and ex harnesses besides the vtec, knock and 2 wire iacv? I just seems werid that no one else has had this problem and if they did they didnt post a solution. Someone please help.
