i think thats my engine code, is there any way to tell what type of engine i actually have other than someones guess? and is that a good SOHC? or should i just just get a b16 b18 h22 or whats the new civic motor k20 i think anyway holla back at me.

If you have a EX model then you have a D16Y8, if you have an LX then it's a D16Y7. But, it is a good SOHC. If you want a really good motor and you can afford it, I say go for the K20. They're beasts!
