D16y8 engine, replaced my stock intake manifold with a performer x intake manifold. My problem is that I have a Vacuum leak between the performer x Intake manifold and the head. I have been using the felpro gasket from advanced auto parts and it does nothing. I have used the felpro gasket + gasket sealant and i still have a vacuum leak. So my question is what gasket should i use? Would a Hondata/golden eagle gasket work? Should I use the Oem Gasket?
Some one Help! Its been 3 weeks with no solution.

I'd use hondata/golden eagle and are you tightening your IM bolts in the propper sequence and torque spec

& Yes i have torqued the bolts to the right amount and pattern

Why don't you get the OEM gasket and stop messing around.

any gasket will work man,

hondata gaskets block heat transfer from the head to the intake manifold but it costs a bit extra

When you install these gaskets, make sure you mate the proper side to the manifold, like with headers the sides are different.

Thanks for the response. Hondata gaskets are thicker then a normal Oem gasket Right?

if its a 96-98 civic you have to plug the air injection ports located in each runner on the flange (mated against the head) rite near the injectors. use a rivet gun and plug them. i used jb for the top big hole or u can use a plug. i had to do this on my performer x manifold on my turboD

just a hair thicker i believe

they are made of a type of soft plastic i believe,

while regular and oem gaskets are all paper based
