Default D16Y8 manifold differences

any difference between the 96 97 98 99 2000 auto and manual tranny D16Y8 manifolds

or are they all the same

I have a d16Y7 boosted and need a D16Y8 manifold to use a chipped P28 and jumper harness

Not sure of the difference year to year but the auto has the idle control valve blocked off.

manual tranny manifolds have the idle control valve bolted to the back of the manifold, all auto tranny's they are on the throttle body.

96-98 have a smaller mounting flange since the 99-00 civic's have air-injection that's feed to the mounting flange of the intake manifold.

so in simple terms an auto Y8 manifold will be just as easy to swap and just as good for boost application?

First of all is your car auto or manual...if its auto then you have to use the auto d16y8 intank manifold(will make life alot easier...and if its manual then, you havet to use a manual intank manifold( way easier)....
