d16y8 manifold on d16z6
When using a y8 intake manifold on a z6, does the z6 fuel rail work? Because the y8 is OBD2, and I don't see how else people could be using the y8 intake manifold unless the whole top end is OBD 2....Anyone??

Thanks, but they're swapping into an OBD2 Civic. I'll be running all OBD1, so I'll need my stock injectors etc. Anybody done the swap into a 92-95 Civic!? Thanks anyway tho

well i did a 96 into a 93cx. I used all the 96 manifold parts. I found out that the FI wouldn't fit the 93 engine harness. What I did was take the FI and filed (or what ever you wanna do) down the side clips on the FI so that the 93 FI harness will fit. It fitted perfect..thing is that never had a chance to see if it worked. My cam on the y8 head was broken and I have yet to replace it. But you might want to try that out. Just shave off enough of the groove to fit the OBD I FI harness. Hope this acutally helps.
