Snail Tuning

ok a friend of mine swaped in a built d16z6 in a 99 civic ex. thing is he didn;t know much about the obd2-obd1 conversion so he didn;t want to do it..... thought it would be to much work. hmm his mistake. ok his problem is the y8 has a knock sensor and the z6 doesn;t is their anyway to put the y8 sensor in the z6? any info would be helpful. also if not what all is needed for an obd2-obd1 conversion. P28 ECU, d16z6 dizzy, and the conversion harness. he has the d16y8 head mated to the z6 built block. thanks
