D16Y8 Intake manifold on D16Z6 head Help
I heard that their is a diff. in gaskets between the z6 and the y8, something about a coolant, n1 know? Also does anyone have a link to d16y8 online manual? Their is a either an air tube or a coolant tube right dead center of the Y8 Im between the 2 center fuel injectors , i have no idea what to hook up to it since the z6 and A6 don't have it. thanks

ok now i know i need to cover up the injection holes with jb weld, if n1 has done this how did you cover up the holes? the other 2 things i have a problem with is what goes connected to the nipple in the middle?ok here is a link of a pic i found, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=546057 the hole is between the 2nd and 3rd arrows, right above the hole is the nipple, well it's actually the outlet to the nipple. also in the back far right corner of the IM is a very tiny nipple what goes connected their? trying to find a pic for but can't. any help will be appreciated thanks

I'm going to bump this for someone who actually knows how to use the search option after not getting anyone to answer their question, instead of creating another thread about it.

1st the hole between the arrows, is part of the air injection, you dont need to jb weld it up cuz it makes no difference, do it if u want, i did
2nd from what i remember i used the z6 intake manifold gasket
3rd i to used jb weld to cover up the 4 air injection holes

Don't worry about the hole in the middle, or the nipple. It wont affect anything. You can put a vacuum cap on the nipple just to prevent stuff from building up there, but the gasket will seal everything up.
The tiny hose connector on the back side of the manifold is a cruise control vacuum hose connection.

Having a little trouble guys, I can't find out what goes connected to the evap nipple on the IM. Here is a link i found that has pics, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=575002
