d16y8 intake manifold

Default d16y8 intake manifold

I could not find this in a search so if anyone could help me i would appreciate it

my question is if the d16y8 intake manifold will fit onto my d16y7 intake ports

yes. i've definatly heard of people putting y8 itm's on y7 heads. theres a couple things you need to do to make it work, but i've got no clue what they are.

"as for the y8 intake manifold, it will fit on the y7 head with some slight mods. i used the y7 throttle body, eliminated the iacv on the back of the mani with some cement puddy and just matchup the coolant lines to the corresponding ports. totally alters the sound and feel of the motor"


some dude on a thread i made had that setup in his list of parts so i asked him about it, so i guess he's done it. im a little skeptical about that cement putty thing though
