D16Y8 Distributor on 5th gen
Just wondering if the plug can be modified. Like my other post about the alternator, I have one lying around, and instead of selling it, if I can use it i mine as well keep it. I know the plugs arnt the same but can they be re wired?
Anyone done this?

yes it can be used on a CX/DX/LX (d15b7) motor with only repinning the plug to OBDI style ...
to make it work on the sohc vtec you need some mounting mods.

The dist works fine, but if it ever goes (had 200 + kms on it from my old motor) i was going to use the D16Y8 dist if i could modify the plug somehow.
