Sorry I can't help on the part number situation, but if you check out the For Sale section on http://www.d-series.org, one of the board sponsors is selling a full set of D valves made from Inconel for $145 shipped. I though it was a pretty good deal and thought I would pass it on to those who are interested.

Maybe you need to know more about part numbers then.. Those part numbers themselves are the same, the difference comes in the "p08" and then "P2a" designation which is how they determine what year of car the parts are meant for. The valves are exactly the same. I have interchanged the two before.

just wondering but why do they need to determine what year of car the parts are meant for if they are the same anyways?

i was 99% sure they were the same, but honda part numbers threw me off..

Same, my supertech valves, springs, and retainers are universal for both Z6 and Y8 heads.
