Default D16Y8 - Is this the correct part for the PCV valve?

D16Y8 engine.

In the picture above, I believe the valve attached to the hose is the PCV valve? And if so, do I have the wrong part?

try blowing air thru the pcv or sucking air thru the rubber hose side. if air goes thru its not a pcv valve. if it doesn't then its a pcv valve.

Guys, if you have a D16Y8, when you go to auto shops, tell them you want a part for 96 Del Sol Si. That's how you get the correct parts. If you just tell them it's for 92-95 or 96 to 00 civic ex, they will sell you parts for Z6 or Y7. They are in some cases not same parts.

This is only for engine related parts only.

No. But it'll be touching the intake manifold. Don't know how hot it gets during summer and it might melt your hose.
