d16y8 or civic SI tranny?
i have a choice between the two, the only difference in price is 5 dollars, and the d16y8 comes from a 1998 and its super clean, so i was wonder since u guys probably know from experience which is better u guys could give me some advice, thanks in advance for the help

Get the D16Y8 tranny. Should have a lot less miles on it since the Civic Si D16Z6 tranny could be from 1992-1995. Plus, the D16Y8 tranny has better (stronger) shift forks.

The trannys are almost exactly alike. Personally I would get the y8 because of the fact its newer, cleaner and possibly has lower miles
