Hey all,

My car . 344.000k and just replace all three drive belt. (a/c ,p/s,alt,) 3 new goodyear gator belts. change oil castrol 5w30 3.3L in....24 hours later bad noise coming out from engine bay... i thing it's the P/S pump , also think it the a/c tensioner bearing.... maybe i place the belts to tight on all three. causing the bottom cam bearing to go....help me to try to fix this...
i am not looking to replace the engine ...

With the car running, put your ear to a LONG ratchet extension or screwdriver and touch it to each of the aforementioned parts.
See where the noise is coming from.

try that with my mechanic stethoscope and noise is mostly coming from tensioner...and p/s pump ...
the thing is the noise is very bad ..
sound close to a medium cat growling with metal banging...engine idle
but rev it to 3000 rpm no more banging...
i now that i am almost answering my own question but i am just trying to make sure that i don't get a plowing piston in my face going to work or make it worst...
help pls...

Change the idler pulley and see if the noise stops.
BTW, a piston won't hit you in the face. Usually, if it's not a knocking noise, it's not fatal.
