Default d16y7 to y8 swap in 95 dx

Ive searched and searched and I cant find a y7-y8 swap in an obd1 car. I broke a rod in my original d15b7 and replaced it with a 1998 d16y7 while reusing my old intake and exaust (to keep obd1). Now im wanting to go vtec but i dont know what ecu i need or how to wire it up since im gonna be using a vtec head designed for an obd2 car. has anyone done this?

You could use the y8's intake manifold, just would have to use an IAT sensor from your motor and tap the other manifold for it, or use the 6th gen's IAT sensor and plug for it and a 6th gen intake to make it work. Ignore the knock sensor, use your d15's distributor, Wire up vtec solenoid and vtec oil pressure and use a p28 ecu. use your obd1 injectors and alternator. Doing all this will keep your wiring to a minimum.

So the cliffs are
1. get a p28
2. use your d15b7 distributor
3. use your d15 fuel injectors
4. use your d15's alternator
5. Figure out what you want to do about the IAT sensor
6. Wire up the vtec components.
7. Use all your mounts and rear L bracket.
