Icon2 d16y7 to y8??

So i have a d16y7 in my ek stock, and i have a y8 manifold with no sensors or throttle body on it, can i use the y7 throttle body on this? and can i use the sensors and plugs as well?

it can be done.

the biggest trick about doing this is swapping the throttle "rotor" (where the cable hooks up) with a Y8 rotor. if you were to use the Y7 TB as is you would need some sort of custom bracket on the underside of the manifold just to hook up the cable

you can use Y7 injectors and rail, you'll need to relocate the evap purge solenoid but it works, it's a good idea to swap the "U-shaped" bypass hose with and Y8 auto hose (it bends lower to clear the TB mounted IACV), you've got to use the Y7 TB gasket, the Y8 won't seal completely. the rest is making hose connections.
