d16y7 with vtec dizzy?? Need quick response if at all possible
Doing a y7 swap into a 92 civic. Prior to this the car had a a6 block with vtec head. Will the car work with the current vtec dizzy or do i need to find a non vtec one? Im thinking there is a way for this to work. Any response would be a big help.

How would we identify them? I'm sure there's a part number stamped somewhere, yes?

*nods*
It's ok. We found out we're totally fucked on this car anyways. The engine that was in it was a 200+ thousand mi. D16A6 mini-me swap (head of unknown origin, but probably a Y8) that had glitter in the oil... Which probably means it was in the turbo, too... which had a CARDBOARD gasket for the low-pressure oil return line that went into a LOOSE fitting on the oil pan COVERED silicone to keep it from leaking with a BUTCHERED *automatic* wiring harness... Not to mention the inner fender rust that the kid said was fixed at first and so-on and so-forth. . .
