d16y7 mini-me

Greetings all. I have a 2000 civic DX 4-door, with a D16Y7 engine. im considering putting a Y8 cylinder head on it for the mini-me conversion. anybody here done this?

no no one has done it yet. It's a non researched field on honda-tech. There is a great myth that it can fit, are you willing to try it?

Yeah there are already a lot of topics on it... but i'll just point out that its a good choice... VTEC is always a plus. Will give you bout 20 more hp. Good setup and cheap.. you can find heads that are fully rebuilt, ported, polished for under $300. I recomend it if you are able to do it. Its not a beginner project.
