Yup...D16Y8 automatic transmission intake manifold will work. I have one for sale if you are interested...with TB, injectors, and fuel rail. Let me know, PM if you are interested! I don't have performance numbers but it at least makes your engine bay look a lot better

Re: d16y7 intake manifold
i understand theres a minimal advantage due to the intake runners opposed to this dook-pod p.o.s thats sitting there now. i think the t.b, injectors and fuel rail and most other things i retain from the d17 but theres a part for the t.b i use from the y8. pm sent

Re: d16y7 intake manifold
You won't need the injectors or rail. You will definitely want the TB with the manifold. You can use the whole unit to make life easier. If you decide (for some unknown reason) to use the old TB, you'll need to swap the rotor assembly from the Y8 unit onto the Y7. It's not exactly easy work. Just use the Y8 TB.

Re: d16y7 intake manifold
From my experience I wouldnt waste your time and money.... I just bought a 1998 civic hatchback. Came with a d16y7 all stock. Decided i wanted a little more power so i bought a d16y8 intake manifold and a catback exhaust. When i did my manifold swap i followed that same exact guide. Now i have a idle problem and still can not figure it out. My car pulls the same but a lot more noise. If i was you just save for a swap or build another D on the side.
