Looking to purchase Edelbrock intake manifold, but their website only make and list available for D16Y8 and D16Z6,

Can the Edelbrock D16Y8 intake manifold fit in my D16Y7?

Also their website mention D16Y7 need to do some trimming on the gasket, is that mean you have to trim it as make it thinner or cut the excessive gasket?
