Default D16y7 heat shields

Hello, been trying to get the heatshield off...Its been rattling like mad. I am trying to get the pieces on the cat off and now I have the front of the shield off. But the part that faces the enging block, won't budge. If it helps at all, this is a 2000 Civic SE hatchback.

Like me, you have one of the rarer Civics This model is only available in Canada, and only in 2000.

Sorry, can't answer your question, though...

On a side note, I have disassembled the header from the block...only to be stupid to realize I wont be able to pull it away from the block far enough without the stupid AC blocking me...So i need to find some other solution....

I haven't specifically done a Y7 in a civic with A/C before, but you should be able to get it out of there, you can probably lower it down below the car after you unbolt the downpipe from the intermediate pipe.

I thought about doing this. However I have no clue what size the 3 bolts are. Its currently really messy outside and everytime I climb under the car, all I get is salt in my eyes. So if any1 has any idea what the proper bolt size is, then feel free to say...
