Well i just kind of figured with a couple of friends that my head might not be really working good. Leaking antifreeze from where the head and block meet. Tried changing the head gasket and still nothing. And leaks oil from the valve cover, i got brand new seals and put Honda-bond around and still Honda-bond deteriorated making it leak again after a while. So i got a good deal on a y7 head and i was wondering if it would fit right on ? Would i have to change the dizzy ? Anything else that i might need to know ? Thanks in advance.

I used to have a D15B7 and swapped it out for a D16Y7. I kept everything from the D15B7 except the block and head itself. The dizzy will bolt up just fine, the intake manifold will bolt up just fine as well. I'm not sure if you might need a new timing belt but as far as I know, everything else bolts right up.

My D16Y7 (head+block) with ALL D15B7 components. Ignore the red circle. That was for someone else



Edit : I also believe that the upper timing belt covers are different.

oh alright, thats really good to know cuz i thought i had to go and buy a new dizzy i guess not! perfect!!! thanks a lot man if everything ill write back right here thanks.
