Default D16y7 to D16Y8 manifold problem.

Does anyone have links to a walk through of this swap. My car is at a shop and we are trying to figure out the problem i am having. The car seems to change idel from 1000-1500 and then my check engine light comes on and then sitts at 1500 rpm. The code was for a malfunctioning IAC system. What do we need to do? Again its a d16y7 with a y8 manifold that was off a 99 ex automatic (Holes are pre welded from honda on the back)

There is no white smoke. Exhaust just makes a bassy poping sound.

if you are using your y7 head, then you need to use the y7 (throttle body mounted) IACV
