I KNOW, its probably been covered, but I cant find it. I'm just asking a question. Alright. Car: 99 Honda Civic LX Auto d16y7. I'm swapping the Auto transmission over to a manual Y7. What ecu do i need and will i need a manual harness to go along with it or will my auto harness fit? Does it matter what year the transmission is, will that change the ecu? I've been searching for literally weeks and I've found a Shift linkage, Pedals, Clutch reservoir, Master cylinder, Slave cylinder, and they come with the line. I'm now shopping for this ecu, but I just cant find anything because its cluttered. I guess not many people just swap a auto y7 to a manual y7 :/ I'm not doing a y8 swap because I don't want to spend much time or money on this. I want to swap it to a B later. I'm just tired of driving an auto. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Oh and I'm still looking for a y7 manual transmission so if you guys have any leads I'm more than happy to take them.
