I have a d16y7 in a 98 cx hatch and i was wondering if zc pistons and a cam would get the compression up there or if i should change to a y8 head? or if you have any other suggestions feel free to thro em out there.

if you're looking for an NA build with oem parts i would stray away from the y7 head, the ports are less desirable than the y8 and z6 heads. You may want to mess with compression calculators so you can obtain a desired c/r using the blacktop a1 pistons by deciding on the head...

i wouldn't base an NA build off of compression ratio alone though.
