D16Y4 take off speed
1999 honda civic ek take of speed
I feel like my brothers toyota carola 1999 also is quicker than my civic and it has 320km on the clock, mine only 220, at 3500 revs on his car it picks up considerably quick
I don't have a rev gauge so i can't compare but mine is noticeably slower get the best pulls out of 2'nd and 1'st tbh.. 3rd isn't so bad and 4th is horrid
any ideas why?
Also when i put my foot flat is barely increases rev's and speed jumps Humms louder

Re: D16Y4 take off speed
It's probably because of transmission gearing, your civic may have ratios that are more suited for fuel economy instead of performance.
You could find out your transmission code and consider changing to something like an Si trany

$1,000,000.
Seriously? There's no country wide price list for this. Find a local shop and ask.
BTW, if you wanted a faster car, you should have bought one. I know I wish I did.
