Icon6 D16A6 Block parts will fit in D16Y7???

Here is what I have a 1990 CRX with a D16A6 block and after rebuild it was shooting oil out the oil filter and antifreeze had mix in with it. So I bought a new block, a D16Y7 I will use the crank that came with the Y7 but put eagle rods from A6 and new vitara 75mm pistons in the Y7 block after I hone it. Is there any problem doing this?

The other thing I need to find out what kind of head I have? Where do I find the code for the head and then a list of what head my block goes to?

Thanks for any help.
