d16 wont start. starter or relay?
yesterday after driving all day, I go into subway, get my grub on and when I get back to my car. It seemed to decide to not want to go anywhere anymore. after about an hour under my car in the subway parking lot checking everything I could think of, I tried it again and the engine turned over and I drove it one last time home. ok so I push the clutch in and turn the key and there is a whine, it increases until I turn the key back. Is my starter fryed and not engaging the engine?

yea, it sounds like your starter is spinning, but not engaging ont eh flywheel... pull out the starter and see if the teeth are shredded, and if not it jsut may not be putting the teeth to teh flywheel... or worst case scenerio, teh flywheel has a dead spot on it with no teeth....
