D16 VSS differences and identification help needed
I had to swap out my transmission and when I did I kept my vss. During this time my gauges didn't work. I swapped out the VSS first since it had already gone bad once. Well it wasn't the problem it was the gauge cluster itself. I finally got it swapped and now for the last few months I've been driving with the new (to me) VSS and it's registering .2 of a mile for ever .1 of a mile. My tires are 180/75 14's so there's no way they're the problem, and before the gauges died the speedometer was never more than 2mph off with gps speeds. How do I know the proper VSS to get? I'd like to get this fixed pronto since I'll be switching to lower profile tires soon and I'd like to not be over 5mph off at any given time or catapulting my mileage on the cluster.
