Default d16 rods in d15b7?

I've looked into the Panda motor and a number of other threads but none answer my question, can I get forged d16 rods and put them into my d15b7 non-vtec motor? I'm turboing the setup, so I need a lower compression ratio. The thing is I'm not good with compression numbers, so with KMS d15 Forged Pistons, and Eagle d16 H-beam rods will the compression ratio be lower than 9.5:1? And will the d16 rods with the d15 pistons clear the top of the block even if I go with a thicker head gasket?
