d16 non starter after new leads

Default d16 non starter after new leads

idle when warmed up was always bit crappy so bought some new ngk leads and fitted them, got order wrong way round at 1st ooops then swapped them to right firing order and the car ran fine for like 20secs then just completely died and will not restart just keeps turning over stinking of fuel. car has 155,000 on original dizzy would the new leads finally blew the old dizzy?thanks

with that kind of mileage your coil pack in the dist prob took a crap. You need to check for spark. Easy way pull out a plug ground it to the valve cover and have someone crank the car you don't have spark its time to test your coil and possible your ignighter
