D16 maxed Power... what people get out of their D16's.
I have a honda civic with a D16 engine.
I work at a shop and i'm tryin to put a lotta work into this car.
i was just wondering how much HP people have got with their D16's.
soo please brag a little about your D16.

My friend is suposably pusthing 150whp on a d16a6, all he has is PnP head, bored out moter w\ high compression pistons, header, Intake, it will keep up w\ my B16 so i give him props

They can be pretty quick and for cheap. You can built a fast turbo D for less than alot of swaps (like k series). I am currently building my D series and hope to have a good 200+ turbo d daily when I am done.

evans tuning boosted that hatch on pinks with a fullrace kit. you should look into their info, very very good people. d-series motors are amazing!
i remember reading something on their forums saying the made 6**whp on stock d16 sleeves. damn

I did the dseries setup for abit. I think I ended up w/ 300 or so on 12 psi on semibuilt setup. I also hit 140 whp NA w/ semi built..

any naturally aspirated D series is worthless IMO. You could spend thousands and it gets you up to having something like a b16 basically? waste.
Boost is the way to go. It can be cheap, and reliable. On stock internals most D motors will handle 200-220. And when built many up to 400 hp.
