Default D16 or D15

Just a quick question, i'm fairly new to the honda world and i have a 92 civ lx. i'm not sure how to figure out which motor i have. and any tips on how to up the engine performance with or without swapping would be great. thanks.

92 lx's have the d15b7. Not too much potential for that engine. You can throw in a single cam vtec for about $500 if you can do the work yourself.
