Alright, now i know im new and all but if theres any other threads on this paticular thing it would be much appreciated if you could post a link here for me.

ok so

im really looking into doing an automatic to manual transmission swap on my 98 civic EX i love everything about the car..but the fact its automatic, now some of you will probably tell me just go buy a manual or trade for one and itll be much easier, but you see i have this relationship with my car that i dont exactly want to do that unless its 100% ness. which..it isnt..so if any of you could help me out
im looking for a parts list if u have pricing thats great too
but just a simple list of ALL the parts i would need to make this conversion possible and estimate on how much time and money it will take..
labor costs..and how long a shop may take to do this, or i could have a friend (mechanic) whos a honda technician do it/help me out on the swap..
so if someone could do me a huge favor and help me out with links, lists, and estimates, and any comments that would be pretty sweet, i really wanna make this possibe and not have to resort to selling/trading.

You need a shifter, clutch pedal, and shift linkage. the automatics already have a bung for the linkage, just bolt it up in place of the wire shifter, Next you want to change the fluid and use manual transmission fluid so it will shift right. thats all there is to it!
