i recently replaced my blown D15z1 with another one (same engine) and everything is plugged in correctly all gounds, wires, ect..
the motor will turn over but wont start ive switched the dizzy from my other working car and it still wont start the car is getting fuel and has spark but it wont start for nothing..
the last thing i didnt do is re-time the engine, i read about it but what i read was spotty and wasnt really with this car, can anyone exlplain or give me a good link to it??
it a 92 honda civic hatchback DX

how do you know its getting fuel? i had this problem a long time ago with a d series i replaced.. i had fuel spark everything.. i pulled the injectors cleaned the tips with brake cleaner and wire brush and SOB it fixed it!.. if u have fuel and spark. check your dizzy plug wires are routed correctly, then check mechanical timining. make sure the > marke on your crank pulley cover lines up with the . on the pulley. and corresponding cam gear TDC mark is straight up.. i swear by cleaning injectors though.

thats what im gona do tonight, gotta wait for the timing light tho.
wheres the plug that you need to route it into itself so that way you are fighting the ECU when adjusting the timing?
