D15z1 non vtec??help
i recently traded my civc coupe for a hatch 93 but the car was sitting in a garage for 3 years the kid i got it from said it was the 2nd motor in the car the alternator was ceased and the braket bolt was snapped.so i got the car and decided to drop the motor. i dropped the motor took of the tranny and head and put it on an engine stand and started to observe the pistons and sleeves and i looked at the stamp on the motor and it said D15Zand the 1 was clearly there but it was faded a little so that flipped my wig because i thought it was a d15b7 because thats usually stock in the dx and thats a vtec single cam motor and my car has a non vtec head so i dont know if its a misprint or waht but ive never seen that before so now im stuck because i wanted to buy parts like waterpump, thermostat, oilpump, etc and i dont know what to do so if you guys could help me it would be helpful
thanks the sonner the better

Pics of said engine? the '92 - '93 valve covers just have a honda logo btw, they don't say vtec or vtec-e if thats what you're going by. If really is a D15Z1 block with anything but a D15Z1 head it will work like crap btw, the D15Z1 uses a high compression head unlike everything else, using anything else drops the compression way down.
