Default D15B8 head compatibility?

Ok so I bought a 94 Honda civic HB and it needs a new head. The current head on there is a PM8-2. I am having a hard time finding that same head. I noticed the pistons have cut outs for a 16v head also. What heads could I use without having to modify anything?

P.S. I did find a PM8 head out of a 91 civic. Would that possibly work?

If it does have the cut outs, you can put a head from a D15B7, D16Z6, D16Y8 on. That is in the order from least preferred to most.

My current head/block is 8v D15B8. If I get a 16v head Will everything else bolt right up. The intake manifold, exhaust, etc? How about the ECU? BTW this is going to be my daily driver and I am trying to do this as cheap as possible. Please no Z6/vtec comments. Thanks.

You're going to need to get the z6 or y8 ECU if you use those heads. I think you're going to also need to change your IM. D-series heads are cheap, so cost wouldn't be something i'd worry about.
